These aren’t any ordinary cookies. These Triple Chocolate Chip dreams are the easiest, quickest and basically the best cookies you will ever have.
Soft, chewy and slightly crisp on the edge, these cookies contain 3 different chocolate chips: white chocolate chips, milk chocolate chunks and milk chocolate chips. This plethora of chocolate textures creates the absolute ultimate ooey gooey decadent bite, fresh out the oven!
If you live in England or have ever been to the UK, you my of heard of supermarkets like Sainsbury’s, Tesco’s and Waitrose. All these stores have a certain sweet treat that dominates and rules bakery items nationwide. What am I talking about? Chocolate chip cookies. Specifically chocolate chip cookies in the bakery isle. Soft, chewy and the perfect ratio of dough to chocolate chips, those cookies are a go to staple when visiting the local shop.
It was these cookies that inspired me to make Triple Chocolate Chip Cookies with the same, if not extremely similar, texture as good old Tesco’s and Sainsbury’s. And I’m happy to say that I was successful in my mission. This recipe yields rich yet soft, chewy yet moist, triple chocolate cookies, perfect for a weekend treat or a much needed Monday munchie.

What does Triple Chocolate mean?
This Triple Chocolate Cookie contains three types of chocolate. Milk chocolate chunks, milk chocolate chips and white chocolate chips. It also has a base containing cocoa powder, adding another element of chocolate. Of course, you can customise what kind of chocolate you put into your cookies; you could even go as far as adding different chopped chocolate bars like mars bars or twix into your dough!

Is it fine using golden caster sugar instead of brown sugar?
anisacakesandbakes says
Thanks for your comment. Golden caster is closer in texture to white caster sugar, so the answer to your questions is probably not. Brown sugar gives the cookies a chewy and soft texture so this is why it is essential.
