Cinnabon
Cinnabon is a dessert spot that has been satisfying sweet cravings worldwide for over 35 years. Their cinnamon rolls are a must-try, and they also offer other baked goods, such as cinnamon sticks and chips.
Cinnabon has several locations throughout Dubai, including in malls and airports, making it easy to grab a sweet treat on the go. It’s a perfect place for those who have a sweet tooth or are just looking for a quick snack.
I grabbed the Chocolate Cinnamon Roll and Cinnamon Sticks with caramel frostings which were both so delicious!

Din Tai Fung
Din Tai Fung is a restaurant chain that originated in Taiwan, specializing in soup dumplings. The Dubai location has an extensive menu, offering other traditional Taiwanese dishes such as fried rice and noodle soups.
Din Tai Fung’s attention to detail in their dumplings, from the delicate skin to the flavorful filling, makes it one of the best restaurants in Dubai. The restaurant is known for its quick service, cleanliness, and excellent quality food, making it a favorite among locals and tourists alike.
I ordered the Chicken and Vegetable Fried Wontons which I highly recommend (seen in the picture above).
Cheesecake Factory
The Cheesecake Factory is an American chain that has become a household name for its extensive menu and delicious cheesecakes.
The Dubai location is no different, offering over 30 flavours of cheesecake, including the classic original and more unique flavours such as dulce de leche caramel and Oreo dream extreme. The Cheesecake Factory also offers a vast menu of savoury dishes, making it a great spot for a full meal or just dessert.
I was so excited to grab a full meal from Cheesecake Factory, however, when I arrived at the restaurant I found out that the Chicken and Waffles is only served during lunch time ๐ซ. Despite my disappointment, I still managed to collect some Macaroni and Cheese bombs which were delicious. I would also recommend to try the Chicken Parm Sandwich with buffalo mozzarella.
Black Tap
Black Tap is a burger joint that has taken Instagram by storm with its over-the-top milkshakes. The Dubai location offers several unique milkshake flavors, such as cotton candy and birthday cake. Black Tap’s burgers are also a must-try, with options such as the all-American burger and a vegan falafel burger.
The restaurant’s fun atmosphere and delicious food make it one of the best restaurants in Dubai. Their burgers are cooked to perfection and are served with a side of crispy fries, making it an excellent spot for a casual lunch or dinner.
We ordered the Cookie Freak-shake and the Funfetti Birthday Cake Shake one served with a Cookie Ice Cream sandwich and the other with a huge slice of Funfetti Birthday Cake (see above for the image).
Starbucks
Starbucks is a global chain of coffee shops that needs no introduction. The Dubai locations offer the same extensive menu of coffee beverages and snacks. However, what sets the Dubai Starbucks apart is its luxurious locations and their unique menu items, such as in the Dubai Mall and the Dubai International Airport.
These locations offer stunning views of the city and make for a great spot to enjoy a coffee break. The coffee is made to perfection, and the snacks are freshly prepared, making it an excellent place to relax and recharge while shopping or traveling.
Special items include Caramel Monkey Bread, Brownie and Cookie Bites, Buffalo Chicken Panini and much more. I ordered a Java Chip Frapaccunio and a classic Lemon Loaf Cake.
McDonald’s
McDonald’s is a fast-food chain that needs no introduction, but the Dubai location has a unique addition to its menu- the chicken Katsu curry rice bowl. This Japanese-inspired dish features crispy chicken, curry sauce, and rice. The dish has become a hit with locals and tourists alike, making it a must-try at the Dubai McDonald’s. The restaurant is known for its quick service and tasty food, making it an excellent spot for a quick meal or a late-night snack.
Seriously, if you ever visit Dubai or the UAE, you need to try this Katsu Curry Bowl!
Best Restaurants in Dubai vs Dubai Snack Scene
As we have seen throughout this blog post, Dubai has a lot to offer with unique food and dessert options, but what about the snacks you can find in supermarkets?
Whilst in a local Carrefour Supermarket in Dubai I came across these limited edition Cinnabon KitKats!! ๐ฑ A regular KitKat stuffed with Cinnabonโs Classic and Signature Cinnamon Roll Frosting! This was one of the best finds of my whole trip. Check out your local supermarket in Dubai to see if you can find these gems.
