Funfetti Chocolate Loaf Cake 🎉
Ingredients
For the Cake
- 1/4 Cup Salted Butter
- 1/3 Cup White Sugar
- 1 Large Egg
- 1/2 Cup Plain Flour
- 1/8 Cup Milk + 2 tbsps
- 1/4 Cup Baking Powder
- 1/4 Cup Caramel Nibbles/Chocolate Chips
- 1/4 Cup Sprinkles
For the Glaze
- 1/2 Cup Powdered Sugar
- Few Tbsps Milk (depending on your desired consistency)
- Pinch of Salt
For Decorating
- Extra Sprinkles
Instructions
For the Cake
- Preheat your oven to 170ºC
- Start by creaming together your softened butter and white sugar until combined1/4 Cup Salted Butter, 1/3 Cup White Sugar
- Whisk in your egg until the batter turns light and fluffy1 Large Egg
- Whisk in your flour, milk and baking powder until just combined (do not over mix!!!)1/2 Cup Plain Flour, 1/8 Cup Milk, 1/4 Cup Baking Powder
- Gently fold in your caramel nibbles and sprinkles1/4 Cup Caramel Nibbles/Chocolate Chips, 1/4 Cup Sprinkles
- Pour your batter into a greased small loaf pan
- Bake your cake in your preheated oven for around 30-40 mins
For the Glaze
- Mix together your powdered sugar, salt and milk until smooth (add more milk for a more fluid icing and less milk for a more thick icing)1/2 Cup Powdered Sugar, Few Tbsps Milk, Pinch of Salt
Decorating
- Let the cake cool completely and then pour your glaze over your cake
- Sprinkle over some extra sprinkles to decorateExtra Sprinkles
- Slice and enjoy!
